Bronze Two-hole Button with a Textured Edge

A wide, deep rim gives this button its interest. It's ringed with fine grooves and finished with a notched outer edge, and the dark recesses give it an antiqued look, like something worn smooth over years. The centre dips into a soft, burnished dish that glows warm copper where the light hits it. The back is just as handsome, a smooth domed copper.

It looks like metal but weighs next to nothing, so it won't pull at a soft knit or drag a coat front out of shape. It could work on a camel or charcoal wool coat, or a chunky cardigan that needs a little gravitas. I've picked it up to try on several projects, including a chore jacket.
